Podcuentos now on YouTube!

YouTube

Many viewers have requested the episodes be made available via YouTube. Although YouTube is blocked from our school computers, I realize that for many, it is the most accessible way to view videos at home. Therefore, I am happy to provide you with the episodes on my YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/mrtejeda.

I just found this website in a post on the moretprs list and it is very exciting. Do you really create these lessons and put them online for free? My teaching partner and I are brand new to tprs and going through all the trauma of change while we learn to do this effectively. Do you envision teachers using youtube for makeup assignments or do you expect that we will even be able to use the videos in class occasionally? Thank you for what you are doing. Maxine Moore

Thank you, Maxine, and you’re welcome. I’m happy you found and are enjoying my *totally free* episodes. My target audience is, of course, my students, so these episodes fit the needs of my classes, and these videos are merely supplemental CI and do not replace an actual lesson —at least for me. Teachers email me to tell me they are finding totally new and creative ways of incorporating them into their own lessons. The additional CI is great for students who are absent. Someday, a teacher will be brave enough to post themselves teaching, and this would be the ultimate in remedial/make-up viewing.
