About
¡Bienvenidos al blog de mi podcast! Podcuentos is a source of additional Spanish input. Listen to the episodes as often as you can to help you acquire Spanish more efficiently. The more you listen and understand, the more you learn. Each episode contains one story with questions covering grammatical concepts and general comprehension, just like in class. With the podcast, you can pause to think, rewind and repeat a sentence or paragraph several times, and fast-forward if needed. Above all, it is convenient: you can listen on your computer or on your portable music player, on the bus or at home. I am excited about the possiblities this technology provides, and I hope you take full advantage of the podcast!

Profe, We love your videos! We are Americans living in Spain working and learning Castellano. Your videos were recomended by our tutor. He is learning and teaching us using “story building.” We love your stories and so do our kids (3,6,8 years old). Keep up the great work! PS-we are passing these on to many friends in the States.

Profe, I teach Spanish and have an idea to do some minicuentos around specific themes and post them. I don’t know if I would use vacas and gatos. What are the copyright issues around Blaine Ray’s original stories? Did you have to ask him if you could do this? Or publish an acknowledgment?
I really enjoy your site.

Bob Gefvert

Profe Tejada — I found your videos through a MoreTPRS posting. Wow!!!…you are such an inspiration! I LOVE your videos and am blown away by your commitment to your students. I was laughing out loud many, many times. Your humor brings out the joy in teaching and learning. What lucky students you have.
